Charminar has appropriately been called a ‘Circular segment de Triomphe of the East’. It is likewise called the ‘Mosque of the four minarets’ Charminar has become a notorious landmark for the whole of India. An Urdu word, Charminar, implies four turrets (roast four, minar-turret). Charminar has four dazzlingly cut columns, one of each side. This amazing structure stands smoothly in the midst of the hustle clamor of Laad Bazaar of the Old city. Kept up by the Archeological Survey of India, Charminar is a portrayal of the chronicled foundation of the city, its fabulousness, greatness, and social lavishness. Since its development in 1591 by Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah of the Shah Dynasty, Charminar has been enthralling each guest, with its structural magnificence just as strict and chronicled noteworthiness.
