Urs fairs the biggest Muslim truthful in India, the annual Urs of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti is controlled at the dargah of the saint in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The Urs (the death day of the saint) is an incident for a vast journey, with thousands of devotees flocking to the dargah. The Urs celebrations continue for 6 days, commencing with the hoisting of a flag of truce on the place by the Sajdanashin (successor-representative) of the Chishti order. Over the times that follow, the place is ceremonially anointed with rosewater and wood paste; qawwalis area unit sang and poetry recited in praise of the Almighty, prayers area unit aforementioned, qawwalis and different many programs all night to form brotherhood and happiness amongst folks of various backgrounds and devotees provide nazranas or dedicated offerings.
